Phase 1 of Sendero at Bentsen Palm available in Summer 2022.
Esperanza Homes, in partnership with the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce, held a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, to commence the construction of Sendero at Bentsen Palm, a 427-home community, in Mission, Texas. During Phase One, 82 out of the 427 lots will be made available to new home buyers this summer of 2022.
Sendero will be the newest addition to the Bentsen Palm master-plan development, which sold out its Rio Plata community during its first phase last year in 2021. Rio Plata is located adjacent to Sendero at Bentsen Palm.
“I am thrilled to see Mission residents embrace our Bentsen Palm master-plan community,” said Nick Rhodes, President and CEO for Rhodes Enterprises, the parent company of Esperanza Homes. “As the Rio Grande Valley continues to benefit from population and economic growth, we are committed to meet public demand. We love building great homes and incredible places to live.”
“I am very impressed with the groundbreaking and I’m very happy,” said Mission Mayor Dr. Armando O’Caña at the event. “This aligns with what the City of Mission is doing right now. We are growing together. Together, we are stronger.”
Once completed, Sendero at Bentsen Palm is estimated to contribute over $100 Million to the City of Mission tax base.
Sendero at Bentsen Palm is conveniently located off Inspiration Road and Interstate Highway 2. Designed with families in mind, this starter-home community is within walking distance of excellent schools, beautiful public parks, and various activities at the nearby sports complex. In addition, it is surrounded by a vibrant shopping and entertainment district.
Some of the exciting features of Sendero at Bentsen Palm include 8 different floor plans featuring 1,395 sq ft to 3,010 sq ft homes with 3 to 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 or 2 car garages. The home designs come in a Contemporary, Tuscan, Traditional, and Farmhouse style exterior. They also boast open concept living spaces and next level energy efficient features.
